This website does not collect any personal information other than that entered by those purchasing products on-line.

Any information provided to purchase a product is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We use a data processor to securely collect order information, including payment information. This information is transferred outside the EEA and the data processor is part of the Privacy Shield scheme. Loch Duich Plants also transfers payment information to a payment processing company to process card payments. Your personal information is not disclosed to any other third party unless required by law or is otherwise compliant with data protection legislation.

Customer and service user information

Regardless of how you order your flowers or other products from us, we require certain information to fulfil your order. These details will include:

Delivery location(s) and required day of delivery
Requests relating to your order, for example, types of flowers, colours, preferred foliage. For larger or more unique, customised orders such as those for wedding flowers, we will retain any communication you may send us that contains this information
Any special messages
Payment details
We will only collect the information we need to process your order.

Social media
We maintain a social media presence on a number of applications and use it to post pictures of our bouquets, plants and other products. We will only post information containing personal information with the explicit consent of those that are the subject of the information, for example, images of people.

We are grateful for every contribution to our social media sites although we would ask all our users to be mindful of other people’s rights to privacy. Please do not post any personal information on a Loch Duich Plants’ site about other people without their permission to do so.

Loch Duich Plants reserves the right to remove any post where there are concerns regarding the content of the post.

We value feedback provided by our customers and are always grateful for people taking the time to get in touch. Where you have provided your explicit consent, we may use personal information you have sent us for publicity purposes.

How long is my information kept?

Payment card details for those that pay over the phone or on-line are retained only as required by the card processing company to demonstrate approval for the transaction was provided by customers.

Information relating to your order will be retained for as long as it is required for the purpose of managing and delivering your order. Once your order is complete, some information is retained for contractual reasons, which is generally 5 years after your order was completed. Information about financial transactions will be retained for up to 7 years, which is a legal obligation.

Your rights

ii. request rectification of your personal information which means you are able to have inaccurate personal information corrected without undue delay;
